  *dress your family in corduroy and denim* by david sedaris. i just finished reading this book and it is hilarious. an easy read for the plane or during some down time on your trip.
  it is also one of those books that is easy to put down and pick up again without having to remember where you left off.

    Anything by Alain de Botton. He even wrote a book just about traveling.
