Anyone else have this situation - I can't picture his characters' faces. Not like I go around picturing faces of other novelists' characters - but with him, I'm just so aware of it.
What's up with that? Any ideas?

Re: Kundera
Fri, January 13, 2006 - 8:12 PMI actually thought the film and the book made nice bedfellows and I am normally furious when a movie is made of a book that I enjoy. I think they complement each other nicely though in this case. I did some deep soul searching and suprised myself when I realized and admitted to myself that when I read a Kundera novel, I actually transpose the faces of former friends and lovers into the roles of his characters. Interesting self-realization... -
