Toni Morrisson - suggestions?

Want to teach one of her novels to a class of 4th year undergraduates.
Anyone have a recommendation?

    It depends on what the class is for, and how many books they will be using. Love is a great example of magic realism. I also like The Bluest Eye. Also, it depends on the university and its students. I have taught at a major international university and a smaller, regional one. At the second, students did not read much on their own, and had difficulty in the actual mechanics of reading novels, even in their fourth years.

    i am a teacher. i have taught four morrison novels, sula, beloved, jazz and tar baby. the most accessible one of the bunch is sula. it has all the punch of beloved and jazz, but with much less complexity for the uninitiated...
