I'm reading CLIMBING PARNASSUS, an apologia for Greek and Latin. I've had a semester of Greek and two of Latin. A pittance, I know. Working through a Latin grammar on my own these days.
I wish I had received a classical education. It's a slog catching up in mid-life!

Fri, May 26, 2006 - 9:45 AMi suppose, if "important" = "useful" then, yes. i didn't take latin, but had to study greek and have found it useful ever since.
